My photographic collages and stop motion animations reconfigure representations of urban and rural landscapes to create a narrative. Using experimental forms of photography, abstracted text and drawings the elements of the work form new identities as actual characters. Objects are re-appropriated to serve as symbols for emotional attachments. Spatial tension within the work creates an illusion of depth and is a nod to the materials being used.
